This modular machine has a bending head, feed and rotate axis per bend of the required part. Parts are transferred between the heads after each bend has been completed. This maximises throughput for high volume production since a X bend part is produced in the time required for a single bend and transfer. This high volume capability is achieved while retaining the flexibility offered by Unison’s Unibend control system which has been modified for the Breeze Uniflex. The first Breeze Uniflex machine is capable of producing a part of between one and four bends however the modular design is adaptable for parts requiring a number of times that quantity of bends. |
