That’s why we established Scarborough Science and Engineering Week in 2010, inspiring over 40,000 school children over the years to consider STEM careers – and why we were the driving force behind the creation of Scarborough’s University Technical College in 2017, where most of our higher- level apprentices come from.
It’s also why you’ll see us at apprenticeship events, such as those held by Derwent Training Association and why, every year, we aim to take on a number of young people through modern apprenticeship programmes.
